Terms of Service

1. Who we are

The Astrologics API ("the API") and this developer portal are operated by the Astrologics company named here before launch. Write to us at developers@astrologics.in.

2. Your account and keys

  • Keep your account details accurate.
  • You are responsible for everything done with your API keys. Test and live keys are secret: use them only from your own servers, never in a web page or a mobile app.
  • Tell us at once if a key leaks. We may revoke a key that we believe has leaked.

3. Using the output

You may use the API's output in your own products and show it to your users. You may cache and store results.

4. What you may not do

  • Resell or give access to the raw API as a competing API.
  • Get around rate limits or credit metering, including by opening extra accounts or projects to multiply free allowances.
  • Scrape the portal or the API.
  • Use the output for fear-based selling, for guaranteed-outcome claims, or as medical, legal or investment advice.
  • Present any remedy as a cure for a disease. The Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954 applies.
  • Discriminate on the basis of astrological output, for example when hiring.

5. Astrology output

Astrology output is traditional guidance. It does not predict certain events and is not a substitute for professional advice. Show your users a similar disclaimer.

6. Plans and credits

  • The Free plan is available now. Terms for paid plans will be published before paid plans open.
  • Only successful (2xx) calls are charged. Test keys are never charged and are capped per project per day.

7. Availability and changes

  • The Free plan has no uptime commitment.
  • Every JSON response states the engine version that produced it. We announce calculation changes, and we give notice before breaking changes to the API.

8. Data

See the Privacy Policy. The API does not store request bodies.

9. Suspension and ending

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. You may stop using the API at any time and ask us to delete your account.

10. Liability

The API is provided as is. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
